Grizzlies Hoping To Get On A Streak

Game No. 67 is tonight for the Grizzlies and they enter action 28-38, certainly not the record everyone was hoping for at this point in the season.  Manager Phil Warren has said it numerous times...Gateway is the only team in the league that has not had an extended winning streak this season.  The longest streak for the Grizzlies is four straight wins.  Hopefully the Grizzlies can start a streak tonight and make a playoff run!  Some notes for tonight's matchup with the expansion team, Joliet Slammers:

*Logan Parker (pictured right) rides a 15-game hit streak into tonight's action
*Joe Agreste has 12 RBI in his last six games
*Red-hot Landon Hernandez has homered three times in his last six games played
*Sean Toler (RHP) makes his second start with Gateway tonight

Looking ahead to tomorrow, the Grizzlies will have Brad Stone going in game three of the series.  The St. Louis native is winless so far in 2011.  The Grizzlies are currently in the midst of a six-game homestand that takes them through Sunday against Windy City.  As always, GO GRIZZLIES!!
